1.
Deep in the vast space I float amongst giants They have been for millennia I float And I float And I float Amongst giants I wonder if I will see The elder ones Or if they still slumber I float And I float And I float Amongst giants Black holes Draw me near Enter the unknown realm I float And I float And I float Amongst giants I float And I float And I float Amongst giants
2.
Out of what crypt they crawl, I cannot tell,
But every night I see the rubbery things,
Black, horned, and slender, with membranous wings,
They come in legions on the north wind's swell
With obscene clutch that titillates and stings,
Snatching me off on monstrous voyagings
To grey worlds hidden deep in nightmare's well. Over the jagged peaks of Thok they sweep,
Heedless of all the cries I try to make,
And down the nether pits to that foul lake
Where the puffed shoggoths splash in doubtful sleep.
But ho! If only they would make some sound,
Or wear a face where faces should be found!

B1 Ragnarök 20:09
1. Örlög Þórs:

Víg sé til varnaðar og heimskvelju
 Hamar steyptur úr hnefa Áss
 Hnýttur ormur úr læðing leystur
Laust með eitri og í dánarteygjum
Dró þrælsreginn harmi sleginn til dauða

2. Týr verst Garmi:

 Flaug forað, Heljar hundur
 Hraut feigur, saup hveljur
 Hvein stál sem vindur vargur
Vígs styrkur gafst mönnum
 Er glötun Goða gat hrönnum

3. Óðinn fellur:

Óx um hrygg fjötur úr tómi niðja
Nákveðin, kvaddur græddur gróttu
Grár á gandi geystur gneistar Sleipnir
 Gleipnir firrtur fjötrum Fenriss fár
Til fjandskaps riðinn feigur alfaðir fallinn

 9. Heljarreisn:

Slíður skríður riðinn hvammi, Hrymur geysir Gjallarfari
Fár og vindar skipta sköpum, heljarneyti vísar vonum
Vindbarðir og visnir kappar, væringjar á síðstu dögum
Særðir gjörðir til að gjalda, gráfeldir gegn Óðins sonum
Ógn og skelfing undir beygja, lifandi sem dauðir deyja
Dæmdir herja á hinstu tímum, hilmir ríkir sögðum sökum
Sóttdauðir og Ýmiss synir, sækja fram á Ragnarökum
Ráðast að er síðla rekur, Bifröst fellur, heiminn skekur
Skíðlogandi Múspells ríki, Náströnd heimtir þá er tekur

about

Many cultures, both ancient and modern, have tales and myths that envisage a place that exists at the edges of civilisation, both in terms of landscape and consciousness. Whether it be the river Styx that took wayward souls to the underworld of Hades, the Antarctic ruins of H.P. Lovecraft’s In The Mountains Of Madness, or “The Zone” of Tarkovsky´s Stalker, these places test and stretch the limits of human capability and thought.

While his previous releases have dipped a toe into these blackened depths, Drifting Towards the End has K FENRIR create his fullest articulation yet of what lies at the edge of the world.

Side A contains three tracks that convey one man’s journey into the hinterlands. ‘Floating Amongst Giants’ has the rumbling earth crack open beneath your feet, swallowing you up whole and surrounding you with crackling fire and cavernous wastes. ‘Night Gaunts’ groans and creaks with the rusted hulls of broken vessels that lie strewn across shores stained by dark light of blue hues. ‘Submerge Too Low’, with its electronic tones and pulsing dread, pierce a murky fog of sound and rainfall.

Side B contains the single track ‘Ragnarök’, an arcane saga of unknown depths and incantations. As you reach the end of you journey, you approach a chamber hollowed out at the end of an underground trench. Inside the walls, floor and ceiling are smooth, obliterating and sense of depth or perspective. A long forgotten deity in the form of a naked haggard man, aeons old and consisting of crumbling bones and paper thin skin covered in dust, sits on a throne of stone and dirt. As you approach, he utters a poem of cosmic pessimism beyond the realms of your anthropomorphic cognition and comprehension. Great swirls of blackness pool at your ankles and slowly pull you under as the old man continues his song or sorrow. As the track fades out you can barely perceive the realms of the world-without-us, a noumenal inhuman place that consists of nothing but the hermetic abyss. As you finally sink into the black, you close your eyes and accept this fate……

FALK - Fuck Art Let's Kill is the name of our combined interest in what we think is important in some vague way. We make something and release it to fend for it self. To kill or be killed. Such is the way of the FALK.
